**The role**

People Partners at APRA play a key role in partnering with APRA leadership to guide, coach and support the strategic delivery of people related initiatives.

This encompasses targeted programs that deliver against business priorities, including capability development, workforce planning and supporting change, along with activities across the employee lifecycle such as performance coaching, internal mobility, learning and development initiatives, employee engagement, and management of complex people matters.

You will be empowered to identify continuous improvement areas and implement business improvement strategies, collaborating across the wider People & Culture team to provide expertise to the business.

**In this role, you will**
- Partner with two of APRA’s divisions, with a focus on tailored people and performance strategies for divisions encompassing technology, data and risk professionals
- Collaborate with the executive management and other key stakeholders to create people and culture solutions for their teams
- Advise on the workforce planning strategy and approach in the divisions you support
- Guide and coach leaders through change initiatives, particularly in relation to talent management strategies including performance, reward, career paths, inclusion & diversity, resource planning and retention
- Building internal talent pools and enabling career mobility for our employees
- Develop a strong profile, network and relationships across each business unit and the broader organisation to become a trusted business advisor

**About you**

You will be a strong relationship builder, influencer, and coach, with solid business acumen. To be successful you must have the flexibility to respond to changing priorities and a hands-on approach within an ever-changing business environment.

You will have a demonstrated ability to sensitively manage talent and performance related discussions and possess a tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline.
