**About the Role**
The structural heart co-ordinator is responsible for the the central coordination of all structural heart disease patients referring to North Shore Private Hospital. The key accountabilities for this role are to
- Triage and manage patient admissions
- Facilitate clinical work up testing and consultations for patients
- Case presentation at the Structural Heart MDT meetings
- Pre-operative and post-operative review and follow up of patients
- Provide education for patients and their carers
The structural heart co-ordinator works closely with key stakeholders and this The role requires a high level of leadership, clinical expertise and co-ordination to ensure best patient outcomes. The structural heart co-ordinator collects data, performs audits and assesses patient outcome to ensure clinical indicators associated with the program are being met.

**About You**
To succeed in this role, you will have excellent clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritise tasks. You will have exceptional communication and organisation skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will also demonstrate
- Registered Nurse-Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA)
- Relevant post graduate qualification plus 12 months experience working in the clinical specialty area
- Current clinical knowledge in structural disease cardiology and the current treatments
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce ‘The Ramsay Way’

North Shore Private Hospital (NSPH) is a 336-bed surgical, medical and maternity facility located on Sydney’s lower North Shore.
With our recent South Wing expansion, North Shore Private can now offer _every_ patient a single room - for a quieter, more comfortable hospital experience.
The hospital’s specialties include orthopaedics, obstetrics, neurosurgery, intensive care, cardiac surgery, cardiology, ear nose and throat, vascular, plastics, oncology and general surgery.
