our client is a national provider of residential and commercial building services. Due to internal movement, we’re on the hunt for a Building & Waterpriofing Field Manager to join their team.

As the Building and Waterproofing Manager, you will provide day to day operational support to the Sydney, Central Coast and Newcastle teams including site visits, quality inspections, undertake testing where required and participate in project tenders.

**The role**:

- Provide technical advice and guidance on building and waterproofing issues
- Undertaking site inspections highlighting building and waterproofing defects.
- Undertake water testing and any other required tests
- Write technical reports providing recommendations and preparing projects scope of works and specifications
- Reviewing project tenders and providing recommendations, as well as liaising with the internal and external stakeholders for project coordination and design management.
- Completing QA reports, and liaising with field staff
- Project management of remedial projects during construction stage.

**What we’re looking for**:

- 5+ years of experience in building and waterproofing industry within the Australian market.
- Builders license or Carpenter background is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of building codes and standards related to waterproofing, materials, building construction and design
- Experience in preparing technical reports, scope of works and specifications for building and waterproofing projects
- Experience with drafting remediation solutions, and conducting site inspections for quality assurance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical parties
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders on project-specific issues
- Building inspection (Pre purchase inspections)
- Site training with waterproofing staff and external stakeholders
- Comfortable in using Microsoft Office tools and the internet browsers.
