**About the role**

Reporting into the Café Manager, our Kitchen Supervisor works alongside a Kitchen Assistant as well as 5 Café allrounders on the floor. Based in Collingwood and open Monday - Friday 730am-230pm, we offer a small, bespoke seasonal menu that showcases our coffee.

With support from the Café manager, the role oversees all aspects of kitchen operations, leading and inspiring the café team through:

- Daily set up and food preparation
- Creative and seasonal menu development
- Stock control and costings
- Leading a team of kitchen allrounders
- Responsible for health and safety of kitchen space
- Creating strong customer relations with their food offering

**About you**

We are looking for an experienced café cook or chef to join our team. A sincere and genuine person with a creative flair and strong customer focus. To nail this role you’ll need:

- A passion for food and flavour, with creativity and innovation in menu planning
- Leadership or management experience in a café kitchen environment (Experience running kitchen spaces solo is a bonus)
- Food safety certification paired with high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Be friendly and sincere and enjoy working as part of a team
- Be detail oriented with great organisational skills
