Join Our Team as an Electrical Tradesperson
Are you an experienced Electrical Tradesperson looking for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic work environment? At AGL Macquarie, we are seeking a skilled individual to contribute to our Maintenance Team, responsible for carrying out planned routine, outage, and unplanned breakdown maintenance on plant and equipment crucial for meeting power station operating objectives.
What you have and will do:- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve plant or equipment issues- Work Area Management & Safety: Uphold safety and cleanliness standards in work areas, minimising hazards and adhering to environmental management protocols.- Teamwork: Actively contribute to knowledge and skill development within the team, sharing insights and mentoring apprentices.- Safety Reporting: Report all safety or environmental incidents, contributing to continuous improvement and risk reduction.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Trade Certificate: Hold a relevant trade certificate.- Experience: Demonstrate suitable experience in a similar industry or manufacturing process-related environment.- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively on technical matters and manage conflicting demands.- Safety Focus: Proven safety record with a positive approach to workplace safety.- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.- Training Skills: Capability to train and coach apprentices or newly appointed tradespersons.
