**Project Procurement Officer (**
**6 Months Contract)**

**Location: Sydney**

**2XM Recruit** are excited to be partnering with a forward-thinking government organisation in their recruitment of a
**Project Procurement Officer **to work with one of the largest Government Transport Organisations.

In this role you will be performing day-to-day procurement and transaction management related activities to support project and client objectives. This includes developing and managing efficient procurement and transaction management and administrative systems and processes. This role assesses, procures and undertakes the planning work associated with development opportunities on underused company owned land to deliver on objectives and maximise return on investment.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Provide a range of project management and procurement support services, associated with the delivery of transaction projects, including preparation of programs, reports and briefs, coordinating stakeholders, maintaining project documentation.
- Prepare, maintain and distribute a range project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information.
- Communicate with and coordinate planning interactives/workshops to support transaction completion in line with project program.
- Monitoring transaction projects, to ensure project outcomes are achieved in line with established agency project management methodology.

**Essential Requirements and Skills**:

- Proven project management skills, knowledge and experience in the successful development and/or delivery of major property, urban renewal and infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience in the written formulation of consultant services briefs and the principles of procurement
- Proven knowledge of the principles of planning, property and urban renewal development and evaluation, relating to large scale multi-disciplinary programs or projects.
- Demonstrated experience in transactional coordination with private sector proponents to achieve project objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and liaising with private sector proponents to achieve project objectives.
