**Overview**:
**(PSL)** is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to seniors in our community. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants **(PCAs).** As a **PCA** at **PSL**, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing personalized care and support.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Assistance with Activities of Daily Living **(ADLs)**:

- Provide hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility for residents as needed.
- Assist residents with eating and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.

2. Medication Management:

- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately.
- Monitor residents for any side effects or adverse reactions and report to the appropriate supervisor.

3. Companionship and Social Engagement:

- Engage with residents in meaningful conversations and activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
- Accompany residents on outings and participate in recreational activities.

4. Safety and Well-being:

- Ensure the safety and security of residents at all times.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and follow established protocols.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care activities, observations, and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with other staff members to ensure continuity of care.

**Qualifications**:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
3. Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Willingness to undergo background checks and required training.

**How to Apply**:
**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $62.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Personal care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
