PSL, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing personalized care and support.

Responsibilities:

Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
(ADLs):

  • Provide hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility for residents as needed.
  • Assist residents with eating and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.

Medication Management:

  • Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately.
  • Monitor residents for any side effects or adverse reactions and report to the appropriate supervisor.

Companionship and Social Engagement:

  • Engage with residents in meaningful conversations and activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
  • Accompany residents on outings and participate in recreational activities.

Safety and Well-being:

  • Ensure the safety and security of residents at all times.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and follow established protocols.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of resident care activities, observations, and incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with other staff members to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and required training.
