Construction Supervisor

**THE ROLE**

Our **Gas Networks & Services Team **is seeking a motivated **Construction Supervisor **to join our team at our **Gepps Cross SA office **. In this role, you will report to the Project Manager and lead a frontline field and contract personnel team. Your team will be responsible for delivering high-quality construction capex projects up to $5M throughout the gas distribution network, with a primary focus on the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide.

Your primary role will be to introduce more efficient supervising, planning, and work practices across the CAPEX and OPEX cycles to enhance our productivity and operational performance.
- Some of the key responsibilities include: _
- Responsible for overseeing and supervising field and contract personnel constructing the gas distribution system.
- Undertake various aspects of planning, estimating, scheduling, and issuing relevant construction work to field crews and subcontractors.
- Responsible for ensuring that the performance of both employees and subcontractors meets the standards of Downer, client and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Assist the Project/Site Manager with project requirements, crew availability, and day-to-day operations to ensure cost efficiency.
- Proactively and visibly promote and drive a Zero-Harm culture, guiding and coaching others, following the Downer cardinal rules.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Ideally, you possess experience in **Gas Distribution Networks **or in a similar industry, ideally as a Supervisor.
- A current driver's licence and knowledge of estimating, installation and maintenance procedures, ideally in gas distribution, are advantageous.
