**Principal Policy Officer**

The Principal Policy Officer will lead the development and delivery of key initiatives of the Planned Surgery Recovery and Reform Program (the Program), namely leading the development and implementation of key data reform priorities within the program to support the tracking of funding and program activity against targets.

The role will also involve supporting the key government committees that provide oversight, and ensuring that reporting, and underlying data systems accurately reflect and monitor progress.

To be successful in this role, you will be a high performing individual with strong analytical, problem solving, project management and communication skills. The role would be suited to individuals who are comfortable working with data to analyse problems, and to translate and communicate complex information to a range of audiences.

You are diligent and comfortable working on complex issues and building positive relationships across a broad range of stakeholders. A deep understanding of the Victorian health system and strong grasp of hospital system performance and planned surgery datasets would be highly desirable in this role.
