Job Title: Business Manager
Department: Operations
Reports To: Owners
Location: Braeside
Job Summary:
As a Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of functions, including overseeing order packing, sales, staff performance, daily operations, business growth, and staffing.
You'll be able to advise on structural changes to the business along with overseeing staffing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely and accurate packing of customer orders, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Sales Management: Collaborate with the team to set targets, monitor sales performance, and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Staff Performance: Lead and motivate a team of employees, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations. Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team productivity. And enhance staff performance day to day.
Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day business operations, addressing operational challenges promptly, and implementing process improvements where necessary. Oversight of staff and deliverables will be key.
Business Growth: Develop and execute growth strategies, including market expansion, product diversification, and customer retention initiatives. Working closely with the owners you'll discuss, review and implement improvements to enhance the business performance.
Financial Management: Work closely with the finance department to manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners.
Data Analysis: Utilize data and performance metrics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
.Proven experience in business management or a related role, with a track record of achieving operational excellence.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ideally you'll have studied business or management.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 40 per week
**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Performance bonus
Ability to commute/relocate:
- BRAESIDE, VIC 3195: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
