**The Opportunity**

With the support of your experienced team, you’ll be responsible for:

- Working in the field and office under qualified and experienced surveyors
- Predominately working on new greenfield subdivisions in the Western Melbourne region, covering all aspects of land development
- Establishing survey control, asset recording, site pegging, and occasionally feature and level surveys
- Using Trimble total station and GPS system equipment
- Drafting fieldwork using AutoCAD and other survey packages to produce survey plans and asset recording submissions
- Opportunities for development with Spiire’s Graduate Program
- Work with exciting new technology including: UAV and 3D laser scanning
- Access to a fully-equipped survey vehicle

**About You**

We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player who is eager to kick start their career in a reputable consultancy. Additionally, you will have the following skills and experience:

- Relevant qualifications in surveying
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- The ability to operate autonomously in the field and be comfortable liaising with contractors and clients
- A proactive approach to occupational health and safety responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Honest, hardworking, and reliable, with keen attention to detail in the quality of your work
- Experience in drafting (ideal but not essential)
- Located in the Western Melbourne area or willing to travel
