**Why this role matters**:
The Administrator (Research) will play a crucial role within the Population Child Health Research Group, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of research activities.

Reporting to the Professor of Population Child Health, this role requires diligence, organization, and effective communication skills to contribute to the overall success of the research group and uphold University standards.

**Skills Required**:

- Completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- Advanced time management, organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
- Well-developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience providing effective customer service and support to clients at all levels.
- Ability to make sound judgements and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and contributing to projects and initiatives.
- Advanced numeracy skills.
- An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
- Knowledge of health & safety (psychosocial and physical) responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
- Knowledge of University finance and HR systems is desirable.
