**Role Description/Criteria**

The College is inviting suitably qualified applicants for the following teaching position:
**Mathematics and English/Literacy Tutors**:
Fixed Term - Part-time
All staff members of Marian College are expected to support Catholic education in the Brigidine tradition as expressed in the College’s Vision and Mission Statements. Each staff member’s role is designed to contribute to the best possible educational outcomes for all students, enhance the community’s strengths and ensure careful stewardship of the College’s resources.
To be eligible, you must be either:
- currently registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- have a 'Permission to Teach' from the VIT
- a pre-service teacher
- a VIT registered retired teacher The successful applicants will:
- have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
- demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to deliver appropriate mathematics or English/Literacy curriculum and opportunities for skill development to students at a range of levels
- be able to provide care and support for students collaboratively with the classroom teacher
The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
