**Trainee Medical Receptionist**

Opportunity for someone with exceptional customer service skills, to join our leading specialist Ear Nose & Throat Clinic 5 days a week. The position is based primarily in Darlinghurst with attendance at our satellite clinics at Kogarah and Miranda to cover leave as required.

This role involves providing front desk reception services to our patients and specialists to ensure the smooth running of the practice. You will be relied on to provide superior customer service to patients both face to face and over the phone, dealing with a high intake of calls and patient inquiries.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Provide a warm and professional welcome to patients
- Professionally answering incoming calls, providing exceptional customer service
- Management of consulting days/clinics including patient data entry, accounts, clinical files, and correspondence
- General administration and office duties
- Cleaning and sterilisation of surgical instruments

**Your skills & knowledge**:

- High level of attention-to-detail
- An ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patient and practice matters
- Ability to multi-task and stay calm in high pressure situations
- Well presented with exceptional communication skills.
- Committed to providing an exceptional level of customer service
- Enjoy working as part of a close-knit team
- Previous experience in customer service role or a genuine interest to learn how to delight the customer
- Basic computer skills - ie use of MS Word and basic excel and outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well presented
- Possess a polite telephone manner
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

A competitive salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
