**About the team**:
The Risk, Resilience and Privacy Team within Service NSW brings focus and co-ordination to:

- Risk and compliance management
- Business continuity management
- Audit and review actionmonitoring
- Privacy risk management
- Work, health and safety risk management

**About the role**

SNSW has a dedicated team to drive risk management culture and capability throughout the agency. We are looking for people with backgrounds in risk, governance and compliance.

You are a highly motivated, flexible person who is passionate about customer service and driven to make a difference in your workplace. You will be expected to take a “fresh eyes” approach to your role, bringing a commitment to the principles of good risk management, along with the creativity and open-mindedness to embed these principles in ways that supports Service NSW.

On a day-to-day basis you will contribute to supporting the business to make risk-based decisions and managing risk in the work they do. This role will support the use of SNSW’s risk framework, tools, templates and processes to achieve improved outcomes. You will be responsible for driving strategic priorities and transformation across the agency to improve risk awareness, capability and cultural uplift.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Contribute and participate in risk, compliance and business continuity management activities
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder and team relationships at various levels, and promote a positive risk culture within the business
- Contribute to the provision of advice and information to inform the business’ decision making and mitigate risks to embed SNSW’s strategic direction
- Support the implementation and delivery of risk, compliance and business continuity programs and projects to achieve our strategic outcomes
- Support the ongoing management of SNSW’s risk system

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Demonstrate ability to engage and influence various internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a clear, succinct, plain English (verbal, written and visual) way to various stakeholders through the proficient use of the Microsoft 365 suite of tools (SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)

8Demonstrated ability to engage and work with stakeholders to build understanding and capability, desirably in the areas of risk, compliance and business continuity
- Ability to use data to provide insights and recommendations to inform decision making and outcomes
- Ability to provide administrative risk system support and guidance to SNSW divisions
- Ability to contribute and support strategic risk projects to achieve outcomes
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude and ability to work in an agile and collaborative environment
