- Full-time, Continuing position- Salary Academic Level B ($105,548 - $125,341) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements- Based at the Bundoora campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University

About You

As the Lecturer, Nursing, you will contribute to the teaching, scholarship, research and industry engagement efforts of the School in the Discipline of Nursing. More specifically, you will be responsible for teaching activities in an area related to your expertise such as mental health nursing in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs. You will maintain and continue to advance your scholarly, professional and/or research capabilities. You will also be expected to actively promote the program by establishing and maintaining industry engagement, memberships, links and partnerships with academic, and professional communities.

You will also be responsible for course coordination.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have as a minimum:
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate, prepare and deliver courses online and on campus including the ability to produce high quality program materials in mental health and where relevant, contribute to the delivery of content across undergraduate and postgraduate courses.- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary mental health care delivery and innovations both nationally and internationally.- Emerging track record and/or recognition within their discipline or professional area evidenced by strong industry links or engagement, partnerships, or evidenced by publications, development of new research initiatives, or competitive research funding.

Qualifications (mandatory):
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia as a Registered Nurse.- Recognised Post Graduate Mental Health Nursing qualification.- PhD or substantial progress towards a PhD or equivalent experience and intention to undertake a PhD in a relevant field.
