Are you passionate about enhancing nurse education and research? Do you thrive on collaboration and innovation? The Department of Nursing and Allied Health are currently seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Nursing to join our rapidly expanding team to work to enhance the quality and delivery of nurse education and research at Swinburne. This role will work in collaboration with the Discipline Lead, Course Director and academic colleagues across the school and the health sector to achieve these objectives.

As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in developing and reviewing Nursing and Allied Health courses, utilising blended models of unit delivery, and contributing to ongoing curriculum development of units offered by the discipline. With a focus on enriching the opportunities of colleagues and students in the delivery of practice-based education and research within the discipline, you will carry out educational and curriculum development of both online and on campus learning materials and assessments in nursing, facilitate the overall coordination of units, and progress research and scholarship aligned to school strategic direction.

In this role, you will be expected to develop and contribute to research activities in the School of Health Sciences in Nursing, health services and/or pedagogy and will carry out appropriate activities that will maintain and develop your scholarly, research and/or professional expertise.

**About You**
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

- Demonstrated capacity to contribute to research teams and partnerships and in practice research supervision to achieve high impact research outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in tertiary teaching including a record of co-ordination, teaching in nurse education.
- Experience with online learning and teaching methods in nursing education including creation or use of leading edge/best practice delivery methods such as flexible delivery formats.
- Proven clinical experience in nursing or health care.
- A high degree of organisational and administrative skills and capacity to contribute to management of course and program delivery.

**Qualifications**
- A Masters qualification appropriate to the nursing discipline.
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or equivalent Health Professional qualifications/credentials.
