Sydney, Australia- Creative Marketing- We're actively seeking a highly strategic and media marketing planner to take the helm as Manager, Film & Series Marketing (Media Specialist) - Australia + New Zealand.
This role is responsible for working with our marketing team and media agency to develop best practices, connect paid social to our overall marketing strategy, explore and leverage key media partners, build learning agendas, and to scale campaigns and ideas. You'll also spearhead our most awareness-oriented campaigns while acting as a media strategy thought-partner to other Film + Series marketing managers.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Act as the primarily liaison for our media agency to improve workflows for audience identification, planning and measure the performance of our campaigns, while identifying new ways of working and long-term opportunities to drive greater impact through our media planning and buying.
- Serve as a platform expert across established and developing paid social channels with the ability to advise cross functional teams on audience demos, targeting capabilities and creative formats.
- Act as a resource to the country marketing teams to provide paid social creative best practices and recommendations with a focus on ways to execute breakthrough creative concepts.
- Develop, lead, and execute highly targeted and awareness-driven campaigns to launch some of our most impactful titles in Australia + New Zealand.
- Collaborate with local and global creative marketing teams to develop the local strategy and media campaign for a variety of proactive and reactive title campaigns.
- Work with local creative agencies, alongside our marketing production manager, to develop creative ideas and bespoke local strategies, with creative thought-partnership from our other Film + Series Marketing manager.
- End to end strategy, planning, and managing activation partners for execution of paid social campaigns across multiple channels, including Meta, YouTube, TikTok and X (formerly Twitter).
- Work with key stakeholders at digital platforms on ways to best leverage their products and opportunities for scalable digital innovation
**Skills and Requirements**:
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with expertise in audience targeting, paid social, media planning, and performance KPIs, preferably within the entertainment industry (TV, film, gaming, sport).
- An unshakeable passion for TV, film and storytelling. Your enthusiasm for your favourite shows, genres, and creators is infectious.
- Experience with full funnel campaign tactics and success evaluation
- Proficiency in Meta, Tiktok and YouTube’s ad management platforms
- Well versed in paid social best practices, including channel specific creative formats and the latest strategies resonating with consumers.
- Highly detail oriented with an ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Comfortable with risk, always pushing the boundaries of data-informed innovation.
- Excellent research, presentation, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset. You are a proactive self-starter who's unafraid to take on multiple roles and dive into the data and jump into social platform business tooling.
