People Support is responsible for the provision of people and culture advice and services, across a range of digital channels, that support the resolution of individual customer queries.

The Team Lead, People Support is responsible for the operational management of the People Support group. The role will continually review existing systems and processes to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of People Support functions. The role will utilise existing data sets and establish new data sets as required, to deliver expert advice and make recommendations that inform system and process improvements.

This will contribute to People Support functions being undertaken in a structured and efficient manner which fosters measurable and reportable continual improvement. The role will oversee the allocation of work to People Support Advisers, Senior People Support Officers, People Support Officers and Employee Support Officers in a structured and transparent manner that ensures the equitable distribution of workloads. The role will be an escalation point for complex or specialised queries which are unable to be resolved by a People Support staff.

The role will identify and recommend group training needs and coordinate the delivery of training to facilitate the cross-skilling of People Support Advisers, Senior People Support Officers, People Support Officers and Employee Support Officers across People Support functions. The Team Lead, People Support will liaise with key representatives from People & Culture teams to ensure work is allocated to People Support in a structured and transparent manner as well as overseeing the delivery of work according to required quality and timeframes.

**Qualifications**:
**Desirable**: Experience working within a contact centre or similar environment. A tertiary qualification relevant to Human resources or equivalent experience.

***Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
