We work hand in hand with our integrated design studio AcuDesign to provide a seamless design to contruction process for our clients, which can be further enhanced with our dedicated AcuStyle service, providing interior styling for the discerning.

Specialising in bespoke residences, we build multiple projects each year and ensure each client experiences a high quality personalized service whilst building their dream home.

**About the Role**

An exciting full-time opportunity has been created for a passionate and talented Interior Design Assistant with at least 3 - 5 years Australian experience, to join our friendly, diverse and innovative team.

You will become part of a growing, fun loving, dedicated and creative team and construction professionals. Applicants with a strong work ethic, passion for interior design and strong desire to create exceptional spaces will be highly regarded in the selection process.

**General Duties**

Contribute to all phases of the project : Concept design, space planning (where necessary, design development, documentation to on site construction management, and contract administration).

Contribute to client’s briefings, design and development meetings.

Create designs and documents.

Prepare presentations and communicate designs in multiple forms where necessary (Indesign, Sketchup and Photoshop)

Work cohesively in a small and larger team.

Support and guide clients through their home design.

Assist with the selection process of the following:

- Interior Colour Schemes
- Finishes and fittings
- Kitchen and bathroom design
- Façade Street appeal
- Outdoor living
- Lighting

Understanding of Space and Functionality of design;
Develop effective and sound relationships with new and existing suppliers;
**About You**

The following qualifications, experience, skills and attributes are sought for this newly created position:
Certificate IV or Diploma in Interior Design;
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience and portfolio in Interior Design, preferably in the residential building industry;
Passionate, highly engaged, respectful and fun loving;
Excellent communication skills;
Strong presentation and rendering skills;
Demonstrated proactive and collaborative approach to projects;
Personal pride and accountability in your work;
The capacity to work both autonomously and as part of a team;
Ability to work on more than one project at a time as required;
Proven experience and portfolio in Interior Design, preferably in the residential building industry;
Good soft skills such as interpersonal skills, flexibility, and problem solving;
Visualisation and Creativity;
Artistic ability, and keen sense of style;
Someone who can bring fresh ideas and inspiration to the table;

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
