Our client provides engineering, design and manufacturing services across the globe who continue to flourish within their Australian operations, going from strength to strength and in recent years knocking out some big name competitors for lucrative long term contracts.

With so much growth and some big new contracts coming online in the coming months, they are looking for an experienced
**Sales Manager** to lead their large WA team.

The order of the day will be to review their processes and systems to ensure they have appropriate and effective measures in place to ensure success and customer satisfaction, to provide ongoing guidance and direction to your close-knit capable team, and to assist the executive team in driving strategic initiatives across the group.

**Leading the large WA sales team your specific role responsibilities will include;**
- Together with the Senior Leadership identify and develop new business or growth opportunities and synergies
- Effectively manage assigned targets and budget, present sales, revenue/P&L, expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Work closely with the marketing team and senior sales staff to develop and establish marketing strategies and plans, and promotional activities that meet strategic objectives
- Ensure proposals place the company in a primary position to win business/supply and ensure profitability
- Ensure that customer, key stakeholder or partner and market data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.
- Ensure customer service excellence across the group and continually assist in the development of your team to ensure they understand the capabilities and required behaviours to drive service delivery excellence
- Identify and recommend improvements to company operating processes and systems to enhance efficiency and/or customer service.
- Continue to build and enhance brand awareness in the marketplace
- Build upon industry relationships and leverage these relationships to secure further opportunities

**Requirements**:

- 15 + years in sales with proven ability to build product market share and achieve or exceed set targets
- Min 4 years’ experience in management or senior leadership role accountable for department/area outputs
- Ambition and desire to succeed that will flow through the great team foundations and dynamics already in place
- The genuine desire to be part of an exciting time and a driver in the journey to come with the rest of an invested leadership team. Someone that still has the fire and drive to to make a difference and try new things.
- Experience within the resources industry essential, oil and gas highly desirable
- Proven capability to build and develop high performing teams and manage sales of $15M-40M+ p.a.
- Great people skills, in particular leadership skills, the ability to progressively and genuinely engage with others at their level
- Strong EQ and ability to influence others to achieve desired outcomes
