Warrikal is a multi-disciplined engineering company within the mining and resources sector across Western Australia. Since our inception just six years ago, we have gone from strength to strength winning significant long-term contracts with multiple blue-chip clients for the provision of maintenance, shutdown, and civil engineering services. With a highly experienced and talented multi-disciplinary team of over 800 in WA, we continue to grow to support our clients in their key projects.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
We have an opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager to join our growing team based in our West Perth office on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for managing the construction delivery of the project, ensuring all construction works are planned and executed safely, efficiently and effectively meeting client, HSE, quality, time, budget and contractual requirements. You will provide strong team leadership driving workforce engagement, performance, productivity and alignment with Warrikal’s values and culture. Your responsibilities will include:

- Communicate construction team direction, driving a one-team, high performance mentality
- Provide site operational management, oversight and support of construction activities, including monitoring progress & performance & taking the required actions to ensure the success of the project.
- Ensure the effective and efficient utilization of human resources, procurement, plant and equipment to achieve quality production & efficiencies and on-time, within budget, safe project delivery
- Thoroughly understand the scope of work, specifications, drawings and subcontracts
- Assist with the development and refining project baseline schedule & daily works planning in conjunction with the Project Manager, Engineers, Superintendent & Supervisors

**ABOUT YOU**
- Proven 5 years’ experience in a Construction Manager role
- Experience in the construction industry in the resources sector
- Demonstrated success in planning, executing & overall management of construction teams
- Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams & sub-contractors
- Resource optimisation skills
- Proficient use and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project or P6
- Knowledge of the Workplace Health & Safety Act & associated legislation
