**The Role**
- The key role of an Advice Assurance Consultant is to complete routine assurance reviews of advice provided by financial advisers to ensure that obligations under the Insignia Financial assurance framework are being met.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Undertake an assurance review of client advice files within SLAs to ensure that obligations under Insignia Financial’s advice assurance framework are met
- Respond and provide timely responses to queries regarding assurance reviews
- Actively participate in the Advice Assurance QA process with a view to receiving QA feedback on advice assurance reviews and implementing learnings
- Complete all role required training within timeframes to maintain technical knowledge and understanding of regulatory/Licensee requirements (ie CPD points, accreditations, etc)
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to: advisers, licensee staff, head office staff

**To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess**:

- RG146 Compliant (mandatory)
- Financial planning qualification (DFP or ADFP) or equilivant experience
- Previous exposure to advice compliance
- Ability to review and analyse financial advice and outcomes based on file documentation to form a determination of advice appropriateness
- Minimum of eight years experience in a large financial services organisation and/or financial planning business
