**About the Role**
The purpose of this position is to provide production and administrative support to the Entertainment management team for the planning and operations for the 2024 Sydney Royal Easter Show (SRES).
Whilst this role is part-time, there is an expectation that you will be required to work full-time hours to meet the requirements of this role for the few weeks leading into the Sydney Royal Easter Show. The nature of this roles means that there will often be occasions when you will be required to work longer hours for the duration of the SRES, including pre SRES rehearsals, bump -in and out.
**Working closely with the Head of Entertainment you will be responsible for**:
- First point of contact for all internal and external stakeholder queries
- Coordinate and administer office procedures for the Entertainment Department
- Provide administrative support for the Entertainment Management team as required
- Coordinate and maintain Event Management plan in relation to the Entertainment Department
- Coordinate and maintain the Event Management Performer Entertainment Portal system
- Coordinate and manage all legal documentation for artists, performers and contract staff
- Compile and distribute Performer Contracts and performance schedules
- Ensure all contract paperwork including annexures have been returned by Performers & Contractors and are signed paperwork and then loaded onto Event Management Performer database system
- Establish Work Health & Safety policies & forms within the Entertainment Department
- Coordinate Parking, Entrance tickets, Special Access Passes & Delivery Passes requirements for Performers and Contractors
- Handle day to day enquiries from performers in accordance with the RAS procedures, while maintaining presentation protocols
- Update of the Entertainment Procedures Manual at the completion of the Show
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will be available to work to a flexible work arrangement in accordance with the demands of an events role. This will include being available for the full 12 days of the Show, weekends and evening work, pre, during and post SRES, and any additional hours as required.
**Essential knowledge, skills & competencies**
- Sound working knowledge of the entertainment industry
- Forklift License
- Elevated Working Platform License
- White Card (General Construction Induction Card)
- Knowledge of event planning and organising
- Industry knowledge and genuine interest in Animals and Agriculture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
