The Early Childhood Teacher Assistant supports the Teachers in the Kindergarten program in accordance with Steiner education and teaching principles, focusing on the needs of the children. As an Early Childhood Teacher Assistant your duties will be varied, and may include the following:

- Supporting the Kindergarten teacher as required
- Nurture and care of the Kindergarten children
- Food and resource preparation
- Care of the Kindergarten environment, including the gardens and indoor play spaces

**Job criteria**:
Your ideal skills, knowledge and experience will include:

- Minimum Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent
- A deep interest and practical understanding of Steiner pedagogy and philosophy
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working in an Early Childhood setting
- Demonstrated ability to work supportively and collaboratively as part of an enthusiastic and committed school faculty
- Current Working with Children Check
