Electoral Commission SA (ECSA) has a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced project manager to join our team for a 12 month contract.

The Project Lead will report to the Deputy Electoral Commissioner and is responsible for the initiation, planning, implementation, coordination and delivery of signficant election events for ECSA.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

- Formulating, planning and coordinating the design of signficant election events, including developing project plans to manage end-to-end project activities and execution
- Developing and implementing procedures, processes, work instructions and training that complies with legislative requirements
- Facilitating meetings and liaising, consulting and negotating with relevant stakeholders
- Preparing briefings and reports on project status
- Providing appropriate guidance and supervision of staff allocated to assist with project delivery
- Undertaking formal evaluation and review of projects at conclusion.

To be successful in this role, applicants will need to demonstrate ability to successfully deliver significant projects, ability to work autonomously and effectively under pressure, strong written and verbal communication skills and a high level of personal drive and professionalism.

**Special Conditions**
- This role is offered on a temporary term basis for 12 months
- In order not to compromise the strict neutrality of the Commission, no person who is active in political affairs or intends to carry on this activity may be an employee
- Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the Commission finds satisfactory
- Extensive out of normal working hours duty may be required during the period of an election

**Remuneration**
ASO7 - $104,938 to $113,435 per annum
