Driver Community Transport

**Woden Community Service (WCS)** is a for-purpose organisation that has been providing community-based services for over 50 years. Our vision of ‘A caring community where everyone belongs’ is achieved through our values of Inclusion, Compassion, Hope, Responsiveness, Integrity and Social Justice.

We deliver services across the ACT covering children, families, young people and seniors including disability, housing and mental health services.

We are currently seeking qualified and passionate **_Drivers,_** **_Community Transport _**to support our Community Transport Team at WCS in providing a quality transport service in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards to assist people who are ageing and/or have a disability to access and remain active in the community.

- Casual basis
- Hourly rate of $40.26 (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
- Based in Woden and travel within Canberra

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Demonstrated ability to provide sensitive and appropriate support to people who are ageing and/or have a disability.
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with service users.
- Current ACT drivers licence applicable to both manual and automatic transmissions and an exemplary driving record.
- Computer literate in a “windows” environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of personal and professional boundaries, ethical behaviour, policies and procedures.
- Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
