**About the role**

We are seeking a **Café Assistant** to work closely with the Café Manager, ensuring the effective and efficient running of the St Thomas More College Café.
- Duties include:_
- Serving food and making coffee, tea and other beverages
- Cleaning of service & storage area
- Ensuring a high level of food hygiene is always practiced
- Assisting with ordering
- The successful applicant will: _
- have a minimum of one year's experience as a Barista
- have excellent communication & teamwork skills
- and enjoy working in a busy environment

Further training is available. Ideally this position would suit a university student.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
