About the role


We are seeking a
Café Assistant to work closely with the Café Manager, ensuring the effective and efficient running of the St Thomas More College Café.


  • Duties include:_
  • Serving food and making coffee, tea and other beverages
  • Cleaning of service & storage area
  • Ensuring a high level of food hygiene is always practiced
  • Assisting with ordering
  • The successful applicant will: _
- have a minimum of one year's experience as a Barista
- have excellent communication & teamwork skills
- and enjoy working in a busy environment

Further training is available. Ideally this position would suit a university student.
Further details of the role requirements are outlined on the attached role description.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
