**The Opportunity**:
Veolia is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our team near Lithgow, 2790. Within this role you will be responsible for performing planned, corrective and responsive maintenance services on a diverse range of water equipment.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Providing an effective and timely first line routine and breakdown maintenance service.
- Ensuring effective management and reporting.
- Assisting with establishment and management of maintenance programs.
- Implementing changes and upgrades to equipment.
- Providing support to plant operations and projects.
- Building and nurturing strong stakeholder relationships.
- Driving process improvements and efficiencies to ensure optimisation.
- Participating in a safety first and continuous improvement culture.
- Supporting the vision of an inclusive and innovative company.

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- Trade Qualifications as an Engineering Tradesperson - Mechanical - Cert III in Engineering Trade (Mechanical Fitter) or equivalent trade
- Current driver’s License
