**The Opportunity**

The **Accounts Payable Clerk** is responsible for supporting the Finance team relating to financial functions as directed by the Accounts Payable Manager and will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of invoices, while supporting G8 Education’s 450 + centres across Australia. This role will be a senior member of our Accounts Payable function and will work closely with our department heads whilst being accountable for processing payments, ensuring reconciliation, and reporting it all processed in a timely manner.

**Your day-to-day**

No two days are the same; this role is diverse, with depth and breadth to cement your career, now and into the future. Areas of core responsibility include, but are not limited to:

- Reconciliation of supplier accounts to the general ledger
- Data entry and maintenance of high volume invoicing
- Process weekly payments
- Support finance team in month end activities
- Build and maintain supplier relationships
- Credit card administration and reconciliations.
- Distribution and follow up of workflow approvals
- Account enquiries from suppliers. Ensure all supplier enquiries are fully investigated and communicated to the supplier.
- Provide guidance to Accounts Payable Clerks

- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable position is essential
- Experience in large, fast paced organisations is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Practical, flexible, and able to meet the needs of the business
- Previous experience with Dynamics 365 is desirable
- _Hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid working with children check_
