**Inventory Planner**:

- Req. Id: 4719- Date: 07-Mar-2023- Location: Brisbane, QLD, AU, 4000- Company: Queensland RailWe have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full time **Inventory Planner** to join the team at our rollingstock maintenance facility, located at Mayne yard depot (Bowen Hills).

Our Mayne yard warehousing facility is responsible for the supply chain supporting the delivery of operational maintenance and capital works overhauls for our rollingstock assets. This is a fast-paced environment where workflows changes and move rapidly.

**About the role**:
This role has a key focus on overseeing the inventory planning and management of rotable rollingstock components for external vendor overhaul and repair, with requirements including, tracking of serial numbers, management of stock at vendor, sub-contract purchase orders and refurbishment work orders.

Whilst not limited to, you will also:

- Co-ordinate with multiple internal stakeholders to support to determine the short and long term materials and component demand requirements and ensure they are reflected as demand in our SAP system and supplied.
- Analyse MRP exception reports, investigating and reporting on potential stock shortages.
- Liaise with Suppliers in management of open purchase orders and blocked invoice reports.

**About you**:
You will also bring:

- Extensive skills and experience within the use of SAP systems or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- High level of skill in in materials requirement planning strategy, process and policy.
- Strong understanding of warehousing logistics and supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation skills with the ability to quickly foster and maintain business relationships across multiple disciplinaries.
