**Position Overview**: We are seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our Planning and Procurement team. Reporting to the Planning/Procurement and Purchasing Supervisor, the Demand Planner will be responsible for forecasting demand for biologics production, managing Kanban items, and collaborating closely with the Operations and Quality Control teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Demand Forecasting**: Use historical data, business trends and input from cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts for our iologics production. Collaborate with Operations and Quality Control teams to incorporate relevant factors into the forecasting process.

**Inventory Management**: Manage Kanban items for various teams within the business, ensuring optimal inventory levels to support production schedules and minimize stockouts.

**Production Planning**: Work closely with the Production team to translate demand forecasts into production plans, taking into account lead times, capacity constraints, and inventory targets.

**Quality Control Collaboration**: Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and quality control requirements, facilitating timely release of materials for production.

**Supply Chain Coordination**: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components to support production schedules and meet demand forecasts.

**Continuous Improvement**: Find opportunities for process improvements in demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning. Develop and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

**Performance Monitoring**: Monitor key performance indicators related to demand forecasting accuracy, inventory levels, and production schedules. Take corrective actions as needed to address variances and optimize performance.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality Control, Procurement, and Logistics, to ensure alignment of demand forecasts with business objectives and operational requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations research, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning, production planning, or related roles within the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in demand forecasting techniques and software tools.
- Experience in managing Kanban systems and inventory optimization strategies.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances.
