The **_Safety & Wellbeing Specialist_** will facilitate the development, implementation and operation of health, safety and wellbeing frameworks to embed a positive and resilient safety culture and environment throughout the Commission. You will undertake corporate development activities to address emerging risks and priorities, and ensure the Commission is well positioned to implement best practice and meet its legislative and other compliance obligations.

This is a permanent full-time position, and you will be paid a competitive annual salary of $126,207 - $140,383 (ICAC Officer Grade 5), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation (currently 11%) and annual leave loading.

A talent pool may be created for future permanent and temporary, full-time/part-time positions that may arise over the next 18 months.

The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) was established in 1988 as an independent organisation to protect the public interest, prevent breaches of public trust and guide the conduct of public officials in the NSW public sector. We are committed to:

- Investigating and exposing corrupt conduct in the NSW public sector
- Preventing corruption through advice and assistance
- Educating the NSW community and public sector about

corruption and its effects.

The Commission is based in the Sydney CBD and provides a variety of flexible working arrangements.

- Broad and substantial knowledge and experience in work health and safety, including mental health and psychological safety.
- Demonstrated ability to engage, collaborate and be influential and educative with people of diverse backgrounds, occupations and seniority, both internal and external to the organisation.
- Proven ability to analyse situations and information, identify and promote appropriate solutions and best practice, and plan and implement change.
- Practical understanding of statutory requirements, standards, guidelines, and public sector policies and practices relating to safety, well-being, and risk management
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications will be well regarded.
