**About Your Next Opportunity**:
We now have exciting opportunities for full-time and part-time **Pathology Services Assistants to join the SRA Preanalytical team in our Bowen Hills laboratory.** We provide services Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 00:30 am, Saturday from 8:30 am to 11:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Please note that participation in the Saturday and public holiday rosters are expected.

Responsibilities include:

- Specimen registration, data entry and processing
- Unpacking, receipting and distribution of specimens - you may be required to be on your feet for long periods of time and lift/carry eskies
- Delivery of specimens to laboratory departments
- Loading of samples onto automated equipment
- Preanalytical preparation and processing, including centrifuging and aliquoting of specimens

This job does entail manual handling, and on some shifts, you will be required to be on your feet for the majority of the shift.

In this role, you will be enthusiastic, possess good communication and organisational skills, and will have the ability to work as part of a busy and multi-tasked team. Crucial to your success is a high level of commitment to customer service, laboratory turnaround times and accuracy of processing.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

- Proven ability to work as part of a professional team in a fast-paced environment
- Proven commitment to the provision of quality customer services
