**About the Role**:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Victoria University Student Communications and Service Excellence portfolio and grow your communications career in a fast-paced and supportive environment. You will be responsible for responding to requests from VU-wide stakeholders to produce engaging communications across all channels, including eDM, Social media and others as required.

**This is a full time, continuing position at a Hep 5 classification, $73,852 - $84,831 plus 17% employer superannuation, working 36.75 hours per week.**

An example of your responsibilities or duties you may perform will include:

- Contribute to the development and implementation of student communication policy, projects and processes requiring a high degree of specialist knowledge.
- Drafting and creating effective, professional, and engaging communications and desktop publishing services.
- Respond to briefs from VU-wide stakeholders to produce engaging communications across all channels aligned to the communications schedule.
- Ensure relevant channels (e.g. MYVU Portal, web, knowledge bases, web, social media, digiscreens etc.) are updated to be consistent with brand and communications being sent to students.
- Ensure content is aligned with university writing style guide and accessibility standards.
- Monitoring and reviewing social media to ensure queries or comments are managed effectively. Use analytics to review and maintain content, reporting on relevant metrics.

**About You**:

- A background in Communications, Marketing, Content creation, or Media and communications would be ideal.
- The successful applicant will be inquisitive, cooperative, proactive, and resourceful (a can-do attitude), with the ability to work autonomously and as part of team under the direction of the Coordinator - Student Communications campaigns.
- This will be a role with a lot of variety and exciting challenges. The successful applicant will be joining VU at a very exciting time and will be vital to the success of our comms strategy. The successful applicant will be supported to achieve great results and grow their career.
