**Position Overview**:
The Events Manager will oversee all activity across our dynamic Specialty floors in Sydney Tower. Executing on event management in our state of the art Auditorium, Ohana 3 floor village with spectacular terrace, Salesforce Innovation Centre partnership, Campus events across our employee Social lounges and our dedicated Lobby.

Curating connections through events between customers, guests, visitors and employees is an essential element of accelerating our business by empowering teams to be successful and embody Salesforce values. Fostering key relationships and stakeholder success will be at the forefront in planning and creating memorable experiences. Experience with executive-level customers and leaders is imperative for high quality, five star end to end event customer service.

This position is responsible for the management and support of all event Vendors, Employees, Contractors who are part of the Event and Guest Services team. Collaboration and partnership with the Senior Total Facilities Manager is crucial for cross functional alignment and a critical component to our ONE REWS team success. **Responsibilities**:

- Amplify and execute key company initiatives and global events locally (e.g. Company Kick Off, Salesforce Birthday, World Tour, Executive level and Employee Resource group level to non profits)
- Create innovative events and campaigns that celebrate local holidays, culture, and business milestones for local employees to be engaged, recognized, and more connected.
- Support Senior Leadership, Internal Communications, and Employee Success (HR) to execute internal business events (e.g. Employee All Hands, Town Halls, Quarterly Updates)
- Accountability for Workday management tasks, recruitment, regular check ins with direct reports, quarterly and annual reviews, applied coaching and development across team and function.
- Collaborate with the APAC Leadership and Employer Brand teams to make Salesforce Sydney Tower, Australia is a Great Place to Work®. Help source employee stories for award submissions, execute engagement initiatives to build employee pride, and plan celebrations for employer recognition programs.
- Understand the Salesforce brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging through the official corporate presentation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and overcome obstacles partnering with various business units who work closely with Real Estate and Workplace Services. Adhering to Salesforce policies under Global Security and Safety standards, this position requires applied knowledge and experience of all health and safety event management aspects.
- Report on high level data that includes key insights on pre-event and post event statistics and key highlight summaries for communication updates and presentations to various stakeholder audiences. Leveraging data to influence our decisions, assess performance and measure accountability and success.
- Strong focus on operational excellence in alignment with priorities, balancing impact, resources and spend to align with Company goals and optimisation of our portfolio and investments.

**Experience/Skills Required**:

- 8+ years successful event & project management experience planning large, complex events & programs (product launches, conferences, executive programs, customer service delivery and trade shows). Preferably in a B2B, high-tech, fast-paced environment.
- Proven effectiveness in vendor negotiations and management, industry knowledge on selection of event caterers and suppliers in hospitality.
- Ability to assess workload priorities in a fast paced environment achieving required deadlines
- Win as a team, collaborate and overcoming obstacles and conflicts for overall team success
- Excellent written and verbal communication leveraging c ollaboration tools Slack and Quip are an essential communication platform
- Excellent project management skills for event and workplace readiness and initiate required process improvements
- Deep comfort level with event program analysis, reporting and ACV pipeline impact.
- Proactive, creative, entrepreneurial, have a healthy appetite for feedback, and thrive in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work outside of traditional business hours and weekends as needed
- Comfortable navigating through complexity, changes and ambiguity
