In this role you will:

- Provide timely and cost-effective customer focused service
- Deal promptly, empathetically, and efficiently with customers to meet their needs
- Negotiate payment arrangements where necessary
- Accept and receipt payments where required
- Maintain the property system by recording details of land transactions and sub-divisions and initiating street numbering allocations and changes
- Assist in the efficient operation of the rates department
- Process and remit rebates and deferments
- Participate in the overall development and improvement of team culture and performance

To be successful you will have:

- Previous rates experience
- Accurate numeracy and data input skills
- Knowledge of, and ability to interpret and apply, legislation and regulations
- Previous experience with MS Office package (Word and Excel)
- Ability to explain information correctly and concisely
- Customer service skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to a team environment
- Managing workloads

This permanent full-time position attracts a Level 4 remuneration of $75,419 - $81,093 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience and a wide range of benefits to reward your contribution.
