**About the position**
As the Coordinator of Building Capital Works, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the planning, development, and implementation of various building capital projects within our community. Working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external partners, you will contribute to the growth and enhancement of our city's infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Management**:

- Lead and manage building capital works projects from conception to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with internal departments, external agencies, and community stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and community needs.
- Foster positive relationships with contractors, consultants, and other partners involved in capital works projects.
- **Budget Oversight**:

- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and efficient resource allocation.
- Provide regular updates on project financials to senior management.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the highest standards in building construction and maintenance.
- Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to monitor project progress and address any issues promptly.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, timelines, and budget utilisation for management and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

**About the person**
- Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in building sector, project and program management, infrastructure management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles, practices, and software.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent project management and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and a strategic mindset.

**What’s on offer**

We are offering an attractive total remuneration between **$111,652.58 to $128,400.47 gross per annum + Super.**
