It's an exciting opportunity for a hands-on and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer who has great attention to detail and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Description**

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible to maintain highly accurate invoicing and documentation, investigating and resolving accounts and operational queries relating to invoicing.

**You will**:

- Manage account enquiries, discrepancies and disputes ensuring they are properly investigated and resolved.
- Monitoring and processing of customers rebates and claims ensuring they are valid and consistent with the agreed customer terms.
- Following up returns, verifying the accuracy of the claim
- Processing invoices and credit notes for customers as required.
- Matching remittances to the bank statements and customer accounts and performing reconciliations and following up as required.
- Liaising with Operations team for proof of delivery documentation as required.
- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
- Support finance team with other assigned duties as required

**Profile**

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of 3+ years working as an Accounts Receivable Officer.

**Your background will demonstrate**:

- Demonstrated experience and solid understanding in fair credit practices, collection principles and regulations
- Thorough knowledge of credit and debt recovery processes
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office in particular MS Excel
- Proficiency in learning new systems
- Ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with customers
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
