Medical Receptionist

**We are looking for an friendly, positive and motivated Receptionist to join our fantastic team at Sweet Paeds Therapy**

Sweet Paeds Therapy is a family-centred private allied health practice providing occupational therapy services to children and their families in Pakenham and surrounds. Our wonderful team of therapists are passionate, motivated and positive, and provide best practice care for each and every family. Services provided include (but are not limited to); assessments, therapy intervention, group therapy programs, and family support within the clinic and the community.

As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly person with exceptional organisational skills and strong customer focus to join our team.

**The Role**:This position will be the first point of contact for our practice and therefore **requires strong customer service skills**.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

- Welcoming clients and families to the practice
- Managing patient bookings
- Organising and confirming funding
- Taking payment, sending invoices and issuing receipts
- Formatting and sending patient correspondence
- Ordering stock required for the clinic and therapists
- Performing other duties as required

Desired experience & attributes;
- Experience in an allied health practice
- Experience with the NDIS
- Skills in social media/marketing
- Experience using Cliniko Practice Management Software

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15.2 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Work Location: In person
