**About the role**:
Casual Teacher - Allied Health Assistance provides high quality and innovative course materials and excellent teaching delivery to Box Hill Institute students to support student success in Health courses and thereby improve their employment and/or educational pathways.

The Casual Teacher - Allied Health Assistance is one of several positions in the Health Programs unit of the The Faculty of Health, Community & Life Sciences. The position reports to the Manager Health Programs and is responsible for liaising with students, employers, relevant industry groups, services providers, overseas partners and employees of the Box Hill Institute at all levels.

**Your Skills and Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus

TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools; or a qualification at diploma level or higher in Adult Education.
- Vocational qualifications in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.

**Expertise Requirements**
- **Administrative Systems**: An appreciation of administrative requirements required for the coordination of vocation education and training, an understanding of OH&S, equity and equal opportunities, and legislation to
- **Learning Management Systems**:Demonstrated proficiency in using learning management systems (i.e. Moodle) to create innovative and engaging learning experiences for students.
- **Teaching Skills**: Demonstrated ability to design and deliver logical, succinct, up-to-date and engaging course materials and lessons. Experience in effectively managing difficult and sensitive topics and questions
