- Provide leadership and specialist advice on business intelligence matters. Demonstrate initiative and deliver significant outcomes for the Department of Health.The Statewide Manager - Clinical and Financial Analytics provides leadership and efficient management of the statewide Clinical and Financial Analytics team and is responsible for leading the delivery of operational reporting across the Department and Tasmanian Health Service. This includes leading an agenda of improvement, and the management of financial, human and physical resources.

You will be responsible for providing level technical and specialist advice and motivating and managing a team that is responsible extracting, analysing, trending, and reporting performance information.

Reporting to the Director, Monitoring, Reporting and Analysis, you will manage and motivate a statewide team and provide high level strategic advice and support to Departmental Executive members, and Departmental business units to improve reporting and support data driven, evidence-based decision making.

**Your Role**:

- Lead and manage strategic planning, complex projects, including the development, implementation and review of systems, reports and processes that support the delivery of health services.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to manage the development, implementation and evaluation of strategies, initiatives, projects, or procedures to maintain and improve the quality and efficiency of data reporting to drive improvement in health service delivery.
- Provide high level strategic advice and support to stakeholders, including Deputy Secretary, Policy, Purchasing, Performance and Reform, the Secretary and other senior executive and clinical managers within the Department of Health, health professionals, in relation to operational reporting and data driven performance improvement.
