About the role
The Manager, Corporate Performance and Reporting is responsible for promoting transparent and accountable public administration through coordinating DGS's reporting to Parliament, Parliamentary Committees, DGS Board, and other parts of the VPS. Specific priorities include project managing and delivering the DGS's annual report, leading coordination of State Budget submissions and output reporting, coordinating briefings for Inquiries of Parliament's Public Accounts and Estimate Committee (PAEC) and facilitating reports on DGS's performance.
You will also have the opportunity to lead advice on other relevant issues as needs arise, such as governance support for portfolio entities.
About you
To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:

- Understanding of government policy and processes, particularly in relation to public sector performance and reporting frameworks, and ability to use these effectively to achieve performance and reporting outcomes.
- Highly developed people management skills, with demonstrated experience managing, leading, and developing a team to consistently perform in a high volume, fast-paced, environment.
- Proven ability to achieve project outcomes within time and budget demands, based on strong project management process, awareness of the operating environment, and available resources.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with the ability to meet deadlines while working in pressured situations. Is open to new ideas, approaches and viewpoints.
