**About the Role**
We are currently seeking **Repair Technicians** for our Lidcombe Facility. These roles are primary responsible for fixing and repairing parts and hardware for Fujitsu Clients. These roles are onsite Monday to Friday with options around start and finish times to accommodate your lifestyle.
Furthermore, this role will see you be responsible for:
- Repair and service Point of Sale equipment, POS screens, scanners & label printers
- Laptops and desktops troubleshooting and repair.
- Perform component-level repairs on PCs & POS, including soldering tasks.
- Conduct hardware diagnostics, testing, repairs and staging as per customer requirement
- Replace faulty components such as motherboards, screens, keyboards, and other peripherals.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
- Ensure all repairs are completed to the highest standards and within specified timeframes.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in computer repair.
- Able to follow guidelines and procedures, and coordinate with team to achieve weekly repair targets
**About you**
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in laptop and desktop disassembly and repair, ideally at least 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
- Ability to manage escalations or urgent requirements successfully with in an SLA environment
- Strong knowledge of both Windows operating systems is nice to have.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Apple Certified Mac Technician) are a plus.
- Self-starter, capable of working independently but willing to ask questions and for guidance when required
- Laser printer repair knowledge is preferred
- ServiceNow experience beneficial
