**About the Role**- Reporting to the Lead HR Business Continuity, the Specialist Talent Acquisition is responsible for the strategic sourcing and acquisition of talent to support business needs. In addition, you will:
- Coach leaders on the Talent Acquisition strategy and how this is a lever to achieving business priorities, including how the use of fair and equitable strategies minimizes risks (such as unconscious bias) throughout the recruitment process.
- Manage the selection and assessment process, in accordance with BHP procedures, guidelines and relevant regulatory, legislative, cultural and regional considerations.
- Evaluate and continuously enhances the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- Follow the sourcing strategy through to completion, partnering with key stakeholders to understand and prioritize the relevant talent segment plan.

**About You**- Be an experienced recruiter who ideally has exposure to the resources sector or a similar heavy industry.
- Have a growth mindset and learning agility.
- Understand and manage stakeholders and their priorities; Influence acceptable outcomes.
- Guide negotiations to an acceptable outcome based on pre-determined stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with key decision makers across the organization to implement changes that will drive results.

**Location**

This role is based in Adelaide on a Monday-Friday roster, offering a quality standard of living without the high costs of most other Australian capital cities.
