**The Role**

An exciting opportunity has opened up within our growing Professional Services practice for a passionate and motived Microsoft D365 Solution Consultant.

In this role you will primarily be responsible for technical solution presales and lead solution delivery activities associated with reviewing, documenting and re-engineering client business processes.

**What will I be doing?**

The Microsoft D365 CE Consultant will:

- Perform Lead Solution Delivery work, including:

- Produce conceptual design documentation that adheres to Microsoft's best practices for implementations of D365 CE and.NET;
- Consult with clients on data migrations, systems integrations, and other technical issues in D365 CE;
- Provide guidance on business decisions from a technical perspective to business or technical stakeholders;
- Take ownership of and responsibility for the technical delivery of D365 CE deployments and upgrades;
- Identify and suggest opportunities to improve or make modifications to increase software efficiency or functionality;
- Write and/or re-write code and software programs to meet client requirements and technical specifications using development cycle principles;
- Develop and implement testing models and plans including documenting test results;
- Investigate and suggest solutions to defects and problems detected during testing;
- Develop and provide enhancements, maintenance and support for existing systems within client organisations; and
- Work within a highly collaborative team of passionate like-minded professionals.
- Provide architectural oversight to project teams as needed;
- Work closely with internal Data#3 senior D365 CE stakeholders to contribute to the overall D365 practice plan;
**What experience will I need?**

The Microsoft D365 CE Consultant will have:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a customer facing, technical consulting role;
- Strong experience in object-orientated programming design and development;
- Familiarity with enterprise architectural design using both Cloud and On-Premise infrastructure/services;
- Understanding of relational database design principles and implementation using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Familiarity with web based integration/communication technologies/frameworks e.g. RESTful Web API’s, oData, SSIS;
- Working knowledge of relevant Azure cloud technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps and Azure Active Directory;
- Experience with related Power Platform technologies such as Power Automate, PowerApps Portal and Canvas PowerApps;
- Experience in dealing with web-based client side development technology e.g. JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, and jQuery;
- Comfort in dealing with dealing with Application Lifecycle Management/Source Control technologies such as. Azure DevOps or the Atlassian suite;
- Working knowledge of software coding and development protocols in a business environment;
- Manages workflow, prioritise and meet project deadlines;
- A good attitude, with a sense of urgency, strong teamwork, flexible and positive ‘can do’ approach;
- The ability to work autonomously or in small teams to define and complete client outcomes;
- Excellent documentation skills; and
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

**What Key Qualifications, Certifications & Training will I need?**

Microsoft D365 CE Consultant will have:

- Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in an IT related discipline is desirable; and
- Hold or be willing to obtain current Microsoft D365 CE certifications; and
- Hold a Current Australian Department of Defence security clearance or the ability to obtain
