A professional and fun loving family in Mount Eliza
- Mornington Peninsula are seeking a reliable and nurturing nanny. The family has 2 loving girls (8yrs of age and 2yrs of age). The care is premdomintely for the 2yr old.
**The days and normal hours are:
- 2 days - 19 hours per week**
**Thursday 8.00am - 6.00pm**
**Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm**
An ideal nanny would have a positive/bubbly personality and is kind, calm and nurturing.
A nanny that is experienced in early childhood (specifically toddlers), open to engaging and having fun with the children spending time outdoors and providing stimulating and creative activities which will support the children’s learning milestones and development.
A nanny that is reliable, flexible and honest and can follow routines and structure the day. The family are looking for a nanny who will build a lovely bond with their toddler and become part of a loving family. Someone who has a genuine passion for child care.
The family are looking for a career nanny and someone who lives close to the area.
**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for the children
- Follow the children’s routine
- Play and engage age appropriate creative activities to assist in the children's development
- Take the child to activities i.e. library sessions, playgroups. swimming,park/playgrounds etc.
- Preparation of basic lunch and snacks for the children
- Laundry - Folding of clothes if time allows
- Generally keeping main areas and surfaces of the home clean and tidy
- washing dishes etc
**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualification (preferred)
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Non smoking
- Able to swim
- No driving required for the role but if wanting to go out and about the family can provide a car seat.
