Enabling Hands Support Services is a growing organization that specializes in providing quality care and assistance with self-skill development to people living with disabilities, and providing support for their families. We always ensure to provide quality staff to support participants, living in SIL accommodation, In-home Support, or Community participation. Our main goal is to support our participants to achieve the best quality of life they can and achieve their goals while ensuring their needs are met.

Enabling Hands Support Services is seeking a new Team Leader; an individual who shares our good core morals, values, and good conduct and a person who has a passion for helping others to join our team to manage our team across Sunshine Coast and North Brisbane Regions.

This is a Three (3) months trial position on a Casual basis which will eventually become a permanent part-time or full-time position to join a forward-thinking organization where you will demonstrate your leadership, and experience in the disability sector and focus on strength-based practice and empowerment.

**The Role**
- Providing leadership and guidance to the Disability Support Workers in your team to achieve excellent outcomes and services to the participants we support
- Ensuring employees possess the required skills to perform their role, providing timely performance, and conducting related feedback to be successful in their work,
- Ensuring effective communication with stakeholders is maintained at all times, providing customer service and support to our residents and their families
- Identify residents' goals, needs, strengths, and aspirations using a person-centered framework
- Engaging and promoting person-centered active support in areas such as emotional behavior, education, community participation, and domestic duties
- Managing client, stakeholder, and staff issues or complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Developing and maintaining a safe work environment
- Participate in a rotating roster

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a team leadership or management role (preferably in the disability sector)
- Experience in service delivery
- A qualification in Allied Health, Social Care, Mental Health, Disability
- Have in-depth knowledge of the disability sector including NDIS funding and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework
- Demonstrated ability to make complex judgments, prioritize tasks and take initiative

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
